LiveWave

LiveWave, Inc. was formed in 1999 as an early innovator of video over IP applications for online and broadcast television applications.  The founder, Peter Mottur, was an accomplished producer/director/cameraman who pioneered many video over the web projects for FOX News, CNBC and numerous online outlets.

In 2001, the company began focusing on large networks of cameras and sensors and was contracted by several US Government organizations, including Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Energy (DOE), US Secret Service (USSS), and Federal Protective Service (FPS)  for advanced homeland security systems.  In October 2005, LiveWave was acquired by Smiths Detection.
